Billing and plans

Every account starts free — diff your first renewals at no cost, no card, no time limit. Paid plans are flat monthly prices by checks per month: Starter $99 (50 checks), Growth $199 (150), Agency $399 (500). The REST API and MCP server are included on Agency.

What a 'check' is

The metered unit is a CHECK — one prior-vs-renewal (or prior-vs-quote) comparison, which reads two policies. Plans cap checks per calendar month; extraction and re-runs on the same check don't re-bill.

Subscribing and changing plans

Billing → choose a plan → Stripe checkout. Upgrades apply immediately with prorated billing; downgrades and cancellation happen through Manage billing (the Stripe customer portal), where invoices and card details also live. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

Limits, grace and payment failures

  • The monthly check cap limits how many NEW checks you can run — your existing checks and findings are never held hostage.
  • Failed renewal payment: full access continues while Stripe retries; a banner asks for an updated card.
  • Subscription canceled: the account goes read-only — everything is visible and exportable, nothing is deleted. Subscribing resumes where you left off.

Data on departure

Your checks and findings stay exportable. Deleting the account (owner, Settings → Danger zone) permanently removes the org, all members, policies, checks and files.
